Windows 10: My Laptop HDD is detected but cannot access the files

Hi all,I am facing a problem in one of my external HDD.This HDD was installed in one of my laptops and was giving trouble.So I took it out and installed in an external case so retrieve the data.The hard disk is detected by the computer butit does show any content.For your reference I am sharing some screen shots.Screen shot in Device Manager showing the External HDD as JMICRON GenericScreen shot in one of the HDD utilities where the external HDD is detectedCan some one help me in sorting this problem. I want to connect to the HDD where I have my data and I want to retrieve the data.Thank

It is possible that your
HDD was unreadable
causing the error message to appear. We recommend that you perform these troubleshooting steps and check if there are any changes:

• 
  Shutdown
  your
  PC.
  
• 
  Unhooked
  the
  HDD
  and
  turn on
  your
  PC.
  
• 
  Reconnect
  your
  HDD
  and
  restart
  your
  PC.
  

If the issue persists, we suggest that you contact your
laptop/computer's manufacturer
for further assistance.

Laptop display does not detect itself

Hi,

In regards to your concern, since the second screen can't detect the display settings of your other laptop, we suggest that you perform the steps below and see if it helps:

• Go to Settings.
• Click on System.
• Under System, choose Display.
• Under Multiple displays, click on Duplicate these displays and apply.
