Windows 10: My laptop HP-15s eq2143au, Windows 11 does recognize other device via same USB cable but...

my laptop does recognize other device via same USB cable but not recognized my device Oppo A1k. There is a yellow mark with ! On a driver named unknown USB device device description request failed.All other devices are connecting and working properly but in my Oppo A1k device only charging, there is no option for data transfer or usb threating.I trying to solve this from last 2 days but I am unable to find any solution.

Some USB Devices not recognized in Windows 10

Hi have Windows 10 Pro insider preview 10532 64bit Pro Intel i7 desktop PC.

I have multiple USB devices connected, USB 3 & 2. The USB HDD is working however my Samsung phone and kindle are no longer being recognized. The steps followed so far:

• Uninstalled all USB devices in device manager including controllers
• Flashed BIOS to latest version
• Updated USB drivers for the devices from manufacturers sites
• Tried new USB cables

Please note: both devices are recognized by my Windows 10 Lenovo laptop.

I really don't want to fresh install, please suggest any diagnostics I can try.

Laptop does not recognize USB flash drives or transfer cable

My laptop does not recognize USB flash drives, external drives, or my data/transfer cable. Problem discovered when I needed to move files from this laptop to another and nothing worked. USB mouse (wired or wireless) works though.

When I plug in a flash drive, it detects it, but lists it under "Other devices" in Device Manager. Device Manager will show all USB drives and the transfer cable under the Other Devices menu. When I right click the item to view the error message, it says "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)"

If I try to Update Driver, it tells me it is unable to find or install any drivers (Windows is unable to find any drivers for your device).

OS: Windows 10 (latest updates installed)
Laptop: Dell

 

USB sound/midi device not recognized

I have a Technics PR804 keyboard attached to my Windows 10 laptop through USB. I've installed the drivers that came with my keyboard by entering compatibility mode to Windows ME, but the device manager won't recognize the hardware when it's turned on and
plugged into my laptop. I've seen instructions online indicating that device manager should identify the keyboard as a sound device, and that I should be able to choose folder location for correct driver, but can't complete this step as device manager does
not list the keyboard as an available device.

Any suggestions?
