My laptop is a connex & when i turn it on it turns black and asks for “user password" , i have typed the password multiple times and nothing has happeneds . What Should I Do ?

To turn off the password requirement on your Windows 10 PC, you can switch to a local account. Here are the steps to do so:

1. Click on the Windows icon and then the Settings icon.
   
2. Click on Accounts and then on Sign in with a local account instead.
   
3. Enter your existing password and click OK.
   
4. Enter your local username and leave the password fields empty.
   
5. Click on Next and then on Sign out and finish.
   

Alternatively, you can disable the password requirement by unchecking the “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer” option in netplwiz. Here are the steps to do so:

1. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
   
2. Type “netplwiz” and click OK.
   
3. Uncheck the box next to “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer”.
   
4. Click OK.
   
5. Enter your username and password and click OK.
   

Please note that disabling the password requirement may pose a security risk. If you decide to proceed, make sure to take other security measures to protect your device and data.

Laptop screen turns black

My HP laptop Windows 10 while turning on displays a weird "Windows sign in" written screen instead of Set Lockscreen wallpaper, also when i try to enter password through keyboard the screens suddenly turns black with brightness and capslock being working,
Can anyone help me out with this ????

 

Add password on turn-on

I need a bit of help with adding a password to my user. I want to have to sign in with a password every time I turn on my PC with Windows10 - however all I can find i that I can make it want a pin after it wakes up from sleep.

I've always only had one user, but have added another local user. If possible i want the PC to ask which user to sign in on when turned on.
