Windows 10: My laptop is locked and needs bitlocker recovery key and it is not located in my microsoft...

Ive tried resetting the computer and looking for the recovery key everywhere, i do not have it. i never set up bit locker so i dont know why it locked me out

Bitlocker Recovery Key

No, no other accounts.

What puzzles me is why the Bitlocker recovery key is not listed on the microsoft account, but there is a recovery key listed there for a computer I do not recognise.

I have several laptops but only the HP Envy has had Bitlocker on it. So what key is this on my account? And why isn't the Envy key there?

My computer is locked by BitLocker and the recovery key is not showing in the Microsoft account (the device is listed). How can I generate/retrieve the key (I don't have it stored anywhere)?
