My laptop is lost and Find my device is turned off what to do? can we turn on find my device on lost laptop? and to know whether laptop is in online or offline? Can I get last location of it when it was online? what to do next to recover my laptop?

How to recover the lost messages?


1. Re-create your mail folder hierarchy by dragging folders into place in the Folder list. Note that any folder you have created to group sub-folders but that does not itself contain messages will not appear in the Folder list and so must be created again.
2. Re-download the list of newsgroups from each news account.
3. Reset your subscribed newsgroups and download messages again.
4. Reset synchronization options on IMAP and newsgroup folders.
5. Edit any message rule that moves or copies messages to folders other than the Inbox.
These are the steps from which you can get the lost information back. And if your information not recovered again then it might be severe problem .In this case you have to go for recovery software to get your dbx files data back. Yes, you can use the Microsoft account to register your lost laptop device, even if you did not create a Microsoft account when you bought the laptop in 2020. You can use the S/N (serial number) and model number to register with the new Microsoft account that you created.

Here are the steps on how to register your lost laptop device with a Microsoft account using the S/N and model number:

• Go to the Microsoft account | Devices website and sign in to your account.
  
• Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner and select “View Microsoft account.”
  
• Click on the “Devices” tab.
  
• Click on the “Register a new device” button.
  
• Select “Laptop” as the device type.
  
• Enter the S/N and model number of your lost laptop.
  
• Click on the “Register” button.
  

Once you have registered your lost laptop device with your Microsoft account, you can use the “Find my device” feature to try to locate it.





Here are the steps on how to use the “Find my device” feature:

• Go to the Microsoft Account website and sign in to your account.
