    My laptop is not updating.


    There's a new windows 11 update but when I click on update it's just almost stuck. Its downloading very slowly. When I restart my laptop says updating please do not shut down. And it updates forever. I tried almost every video on YouTube but it doesn't work. Anyone knows fix?

    Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

    Laptop problem: Black vertical "sidebar" [Update]

    I will try that... do you think I have complete access to replace the monitor cable without dismantling the laptop from step 1? *Eek! My laptop is not updating. :eek:
    Tbh it's a bit scary.
