Windows 10: My laptop is not working. Please help!!!

So….I suspected that my laptop might have some kind of virus. I couldn’t factory reset my laptop the regular way through settings. So I troubleshooted my laptop using the keyboard on the sign in screen. During the reset process it randomly shut off. I turned my laptop back on and it said “preparing” followed by “the computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered and unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install windows, click ok to restart the computer and then restart the installation.” I click ok and it just repeats the process with the same message. Help?

Really, you should be getting a list of laptops you like the look of, narrowing it down and then asking on here which is best.

Asking people for suggestions really doesn't work well as most people only have experience with 1-2 laptops at a time.

Searching all the shopping sites and creating a list for you is a lot of work.

You need to do the work and we can help with the rest.
