    I began looking into this problem last November Where can I get info showing what caused my PC to restart please?

    I did nothing because of other pressures. But it's started happening again. I'm fairly sure it's not overheating - my laptop is on a Belkin fan-assisted base. Nor is it one browser or website. A few days ago I saw in MSComm a thread from someone having the same problem - he posted an analysis of the mini-dump which pointed towards his AMD processor. The analysis was an instant (and free) report provided by OSR's Instant Online Crash Analysis. I was burning the midnight oil on a big job and Murphy's Law operated - my PC shut down at 1:09 am GMT. After it restarted I ran the Instant Online Crash Analysis. This is shown in my next post - does it tell you what happened and what I should do about it please?

    It's 1.45 am so I've had a 20 hours day - too long at my age (40++++++). Hoping the Analysis is informative.

    My Laptop Keep Restarting Without Any Warning

    Hi.

    I'm not so sure why my laptop (HP EliteBook) keeps restarting itself after it started few minutes. There are no warning or details regarding the issue. It's happened whether online and offline.

    Please help me.
