Windows 10: my laptop is taking too much time for sleep and while sleeping fan of laptop is on

there is also no option of hybrid sleep what am i supposed to do ?

Laptop likes to SLEEP

If I am inactive for 2 minutes, my laptop wants to go to sleep. I have changed my settings so that when the laptop is on battery, it should shut the monitor off at 30 minutes and go to sleep at 45 and when plugged in, it should go to sleep in an hour, yet
it still goes to sleep after only two minutes of inactivity.

• If I am writing an e-mail and stop to think of what I want to say, it goes to sleep.
  
• If I am working in word and take time to think how I want to phrase something, it goes to sleep.
• If I take time to go to the bathroom or grab a drink out of my refrigerator, it goes to sleep.

This is VERY annoying and didn't start until I did the upgrade. I have two other laptops with Windows 8.1 and am seriously considering leaving them as Windows 8.1.

 

Laptop in sleep mode

I am a college student and use my laptop everyday. I am constantly storing my laptop and taking it out of my backpack between classes. Is it ok to keep my laptop on sleep mode as I move between classes or should I power off? I have both an ssd and hhd so it doesn’t take very long to power on an off but I have read forums that suggest frequently powering on and off hurts the battery. Sometimes it seems that my fans are still running when I put my laptop in sleep mode so I am worried about my laptop being in my bag.

 

Laptop won' t shutdown (or restart) and sleep [takes forever]

The situation:

• When shutting down, the laptop proceeds as normal until the screen turns off.
• After the screen turns off, it takes a while for the battery LED to go off.
• After that the power led remains on and it looks like the laptop is stuck in this state forever.
• When I try to get my laptop to sleep, something similar happens; the power led remains on, the battery led turns off and the laptop appears to be stuck in this state.

My laptop is: Asus FX553VD.

What I've tried:

• I have tried to troubleshoot power management and power options.
• Tried clean boot.
• Updated the BIOS.
• Reinstalled windows and tried shutdown and sleep (without installing the drivers and stuff), however that didn't work either.

Additional Info:

• I have multiple operating systems installed in my laptop, however this problem persists on windows only (the OSes are installed on different drives).
• The disk usage is abnormally high.
• There are spikes in CPU usage that kick up the fan really fast while idle.

Please suggest other ideas as to what I should do?

[It appears that the only option I have left is to reinstall everything]
