Windows 10: MY LAPTOP IS UNABLE TO COMPLETE UPDATES.

My laptop needs an update but each time I try, it will go as far as 100% complete and then there will be a pop-up with a message: "We couldn't complete the updates Undoing changes Don't turn off your computer"It has been going on in the last three weeks now and I don't have this issue on this computer which I have been using since 2019.Any idea what may be wrong? Is there a solution to this? Can Microsoft or someone help me please?It is an Acer laptop with windows 10, 1TB with about 300 used HDD, Intel core i7, Memory 8GB. Thanks.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

I will try that... do you think I have complete access to replace the monitor cable without dismantling the laptop from step 1? *Eek!
