Windows 10: My Laptop is using too much ram even when all programs and apps are closed!!!

I have an Asus VivoBook S15 with 8 GB of ram and for graphics I have a GeForce Mx 250. This problem is troubling me for more than a year and after being totally irritated, I am finally asking for help. So even when all programs and apps are closed, my laptop uses 50-60% of ram!! Now many of you will day that I should go to task manager and Close hidden programs from there. But when I go there, even though total ram usage is showing 50%, when I add all the ram usage, total is not more than even 20%. So please help me out...Here are some pictures:

My computer is not what it should be. I have 8gb ram, but it is being used somewhere I cannot find. Task manager and resource monitor show very high usage (80s and up), but the programs listed are using almost no ram. I have an example in the pictures below. After getting the pictures below, I opened one more tab in chrome (for a total of 2) and chrome closed on its own. It is impossible to do anything right now. The programs open for this example are for android app development, but nothing demanding (no android studio). I have the same problem with other apps open as well.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
