Windows 10: My laptop just running extremely slow even just open the file explorer and browsing in...

My laptop extremely running slow even I just open the file explorer easliy not responding or browser. I already tried to space up my Local Disk C until it doesn't seem red, but my drive D still red because I don't have external disk anymore. I also already uninstalled all the programs to make sure my RAM usage was in the safe condition and do not make another common issue that usually bring the laptop slow down, for the last I also already running the full scan windows security and got the notification of several threats was found with high status, so I take action for this. The problem now

Windows 10 File Explorer is Extremely Slow to Open Photo Files

I recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. My computer now seems to be running slower. However, it is extremely slow to open photo files compared to when I was running Windows 7. When I click to open a JPEG file / photo file in Windows 10, File
Explorer goes into a (not responding) message. It will stay in the not resonding mode for at least 30 seconds to a minute. Then the photo will appear and File Explorer will allow for it to be deleted, moved, copied etc. This makes opening and managing photos
extremely frustrating. I have been searching the internet for a fix. There appear to be a number of suggestions and fixes out there but nothing I have tried has worked. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

 

Windows explorer copy and file browsing running slow.

A few months ago windows 10 explorer.exe was running slow when browsing folders and copying files within the C drive. I have a solid state drive and copying files from one location on drive C to another location on drive C would transfer around 20KByte/sec, but only within explorer. If I used another file manager such as 7-zip, copying and browsing files would be extremely fast. I used the Windows 10 "Reset the PC" and the problem went away for a few months and explorer was running fast. Now a few months later the problem is back. If I profile explorer.exe (using the profiler called Very Sleepy) during a copy operation of a folder from drive C to drive C, one of the explorer.exe threads is running at 100%. Within that thread, 90% is the function "GetVolumeNameForVolumeMountPointW", and 10% is the function "DeviceIoControl". This was the case before and after the reset of the PC. I've tried many suggestions such as disabling indexing, disabling antivirus, and disabling Carbonite, but no luck.

 

File Explorer Extremely Slow or Not Responsive

I have windows 10 and these issues occur when using file explorer, moving or managing files.

A. File explorer takes minutes to open or won't open when clicked on (this includes using the windows search bar and any icons on the computer).

B. File explorer crashes often or is extremely slow while attempting to rename a file.

C. File explorer crashes often or is extremely slow while Creating/naming a new folder

D. File explorer is in general extremely slow and crashes when moving through various folders.

I hope this is enough information to indicate what is wrong. I really need help with this as my computer is becoming nearly unusable for certain tasks due to these issues.
