Windows 10: My laptop keep removing all my desktop files and i only find my files in C drive.

HelloI just had this problem last night when i restart or shutdown my laptop, it remove all desktop files and picture including the wallpaper picturesi cannot find my pictures in the files explorer or my vidoes or anything i saved, also it logged me out of all my applications and even google account and youtube.but when i check the C drive i can find all my desktop files and games and pictures.I have Discoud now its deletedeven the native language is Arabic but i changed it years ago to english now its back again to arabiclast night I gather all my information from C drive and Redownload Disc

you get the idea. ( too lazy to put it in a for loop and test it.

or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.

 

windows 10 deleted my desktop files

Step 1 - I upgraded to Win 10 and lost all my files on Desktop.

Step 2 - Found the files in Network - USers- Desktop

copied all files again to desktop.

Step 3- Restarted my machine again and lost desktop files again.

Step 4 - As suggested did the following as listed below but dont find my files.

• Press “Windows + E”, open This PC/Computer
• Open Local Disc C, open Windows.old
• Click on Users, select your User name
• Go to desktop folder

Cant find my files. Why is Win 10 deleted files again and again from Desktop ?.

 

Stored files in Hard Drive

You can use Windows search. Just search for *.* on a desired drive. When list is done just arrange them by size LOL.

You can do it via command line as well and make an output text file showing files and their sizes (but without arrangement)
