Windows 10: my laptop keeps running and the little blue circle by the cursor keeps flashing

My laptop sounds like something keeps running in the background and the cursor arrow has the little blue circle constantly flashing. Microsoft support disabled my biometric devices he said it was for my mouse. It worked for a couple of minutes and now it is back doing it. Any thoughts?

So my laptop was bugging me for ages to update to Windows 10... But ever since I did, the blue loading circle beside my cursor keeps flashing and interrupting some things I'm trying to do on my laptop... (For example, trying to pick a category in this question...
Every second when the blue circle comes back, the option box closes....) Also the mouse in general is slow to respond, which gets quite irritating... Any ideas on how to fix?

Hello ,

I'm having a issue with my computer since a couples of days .

When I try to open a files or app on the desktop the blue circle cursor keep running next the mouse .

I face it this issue also with two other customers .

These are the steps I made to try to fix the issue :

Made the commande sfc /scannow

check for the last updates

Look on the task manager to check if a suspicous program are running or a program that use a lot of ressources

Restared the computer .

Created a new user profile to see if the issue is with the user profile

All of the steps bellow didn't fix the issue .

I faced this issue on Windows 10 and Windows 11.

I tried to upload a picture on this post but everytimes it tells me failed to upload .

Can you help me with this .
