Windows 10: My laptop -Lenovo , could only detect one monitor at a time

My laptop worked perfectly with other two monitors for over two years. Three days ago, I unplugged two monitors and took the laptop with me to other room for work in the evening. Unfortunately, next morning, when i plugged the two monitors into the laptop, the only monitor 1 was detected. I have tried all the ways as it was posted but all failed. if i plugged in two monitors at same time, only monitor 1 works .if i plug monitor 2 only, the monitor 2 will works. Please help me to solve the problem. thanks

External Monitor not detected on Lenovo G500 laptop


After installing Technical Preview my Acer monitor is not detected when plugged in by VGA to Lenovo G500 laptop. This works on the 7 Dual Boot.

I only see one Generic Monitor detected in Dev Mgr. All Devices were issued drivers at install.

 

Lenovo Laptop not detecting external monitor(s)

My Lenovo Laptop is no longer recognizing my external monitors. this worked fine until a few days ago. I have updated, removed, reinstalled the intel graphics driver and run intel diagnostic as well as windows diagnostic. All internal HW passes tests. The computer thinks it is fine.

When I take the same usbc hub and connect it to my cell phone it is able to detect and display on the external monitors but starting a few days ago my laptop has just decided to stopped detecting the external monitor(s). I have two usbc ports on my laptop and I have tried the hub connected to both ports and neither will detect the external monitors. Is it possible that the error is related to the ports and not the graphics card? If so how do i diagnose or test the ports?

 

Windows Powershell- Detect Docking Stations and attached monitors


I am trying to write a script to detect all docking stations and monitors attached to those docking station for Lenovo Thinkpad t540p laptops on a domain network. Most of the monitors are Asus. Any suggestions or is this even possible? Running powershell from DEV WIN 10
