Windows 10: my laptop network adapter is not stable after windows10 update

my new laptop was working well for 1 week After I bought new laptop.

But I did windows update, and the network started to being unstable.

It randomly disconnect my wifi. If I wait, sometimes it connect the wifi again, but usually it remains disconnected unless I restart my laptop several times.

I tried almost all solutions I could find on google, nothing worked.

here is what I tried.

-updating, uninstall, roll back, install other network drivers.

-visiting Intel and Asus website(my laptop is Asus brand) and download,install network drivers.

-power setting(unlocking battery saver related network)

-on cmd mode, something like netsh series

-temporary firewall turn off.


-and many other method.

-my old laptop hold good connection with same wifi...so wifi is not the problem



this network driver sometime has error mark like this, but sometimes just disappear.

Follow these steps to un-install the drivers:

• On the search bar type “ Device Manager”
• On the left pane locate “Network Adapter” and expand by clicking on it
• Right on the “ Network driver” option and click “Uninstall’
• Download the latest Wireless network adapter driver setup file from the manufacturer’s website and install it.

Which network adapter?

My friend recently came over to my house with his laptop. Before I could connect him to my lan he detected several wireless networks in the area. I want to connect to these wireless networks, but I don't know what kind of adapter I need. I searched his laptop model and this is his network adapter http://www.intel.com/network/connectivity/products/wireless/wireless_n/overview.htm

It seems he could get both N, and G signals

what would any of you guys suggest?

To resolve this issue, we suggest that you run the Network troubleshooter when you switch from WiFi to Ethernet connection. The Network troubleshooter can help diagnose and fix common connection problems including clearing the network cache to obtain a new
