Windows 10: My laptop of windows 11 is consuming more data

In my pc windows 11 when I connected to wifi my data is finishing very fastly so i check the data usage in settings it shows system is using more with very quickly i am not unable to use my data my whole data is finishing for this system. I also tried by 'on' the metered connection and also disabled the 'Background Intelligent Transfer service properties' and 'windows update' in services but it no use still my data is finishing quickly. So please give solution to this problem

Metred connection, still consuming a lot of data

Hi All,

My laptop is a new DELL laptop, preinstalled with Windows10. Every time I connect my laptop to my mobile internet connection through the mobile hotspot, the laptop is consuming a lot of internet data. I set the connection as metered, still it is consuming
a lot of data. This needs to be stopped at the earliest.

Below are the actions taken so far as per my own understanding:

• Connection is already set as metered.
• I have stopped the Windows Update service, before I start my data connection. Instead, I am manually checking and installing updates.

Can someone please advise ASAP?

 

Consuming too much data

My windows 10 laptop is consuming too much data and when i checked the data usage i found that
setuphost.exe is the one which is consuming the entire data.

It nearly consumed 100mb in less than 1minute.since i have daily data limit please help me to control my data usage.

 

Excess amount of data consumption in Windows 10

Hi All,

I have brought a new laptop HP Pavilion x360 with Windows 10 Home. While connecting to internet I found that my laptop is consuming too much of data (1GB/20 min). I have tried all the steps (switching off the updates, background data, etc) given in the forum
but didn't get any help.

Please suggest.
