    My laptop periodically hisses and crashes when I plug/unplug the power cord.


    I've only had my laptop System Model: ASUS TUF Gaming A15 for about a year and a bit and for the past month or so when I plug/unplug the power cord from the device my laptop crashes. Ill try to get a picture of the crash screen and post it as a reply to this thread.Additionally, periodically but no consistently I'll here a hissing sound coming from the area where you plug in the cord. the laptop is basically still new and I don't run any heavy applications on it as I mostly use it for schooling and the odd game here and there so i don't know why its sounding like its dying :I originally

    Laptop Shuts Down When Cord Plugged In

    My laptop is an Asus K571GT with Windows 10 that I bought in November of 2019.

    At one point recently, the power cord for an HP Pavilion 15-n100 was accidentally plugged in to this laptop. The plugs are similar, and it actually fit and charged the laptop briefly, but I noticed that the system was really slow and laggy while it was plugged
    in, so I unplugged it.

    Things were fine until this happened again. This time, plugging in the HP cord made the computer abruptly lose power. It completely went dead, and then started up again a few seconds later. I unplugged the HP cord and plugged in my Asus cord.

    This morning when I plugged in my Asus cord, it did the same thing.

    Any ideas? I doubt it's a problem with the cord, since both cords made this happen, and I'm hoping it's not a problem with the motherboard somehow, since this computer is practically brand new. Could this be a Windows problem?

    How to disable Brightness change when plugging in or unplugging power cord?

    I absolutely hate the automatic brightness change that occurs when I plug in or unplug my power cord. How can I disable this?!

    Hello everyone! I recently bought MSI GF72VR and I am having strange problem with it.

    Almost every time when I unplug power cord and I have open program my laptop freezes for about 3-4 seconds then it comes black screen and then blue screen and restart. I have tried to disable Microsoft AC adapter and I played a lot with Power options but
    there was no effect at all.
