Windows 10: My laptop runs slowly when unplugged

I've noticed that when I play games on my laptop a Dell G3 15 unplugged, it tends to run more slowly than when it is plugged in. I would really like to find a way around this, because I don't want to rely on being plugged in all the time it heats up a lot when plugged in. So far, I've tried changing my Power Plan so that the settings for On Battery are the same as for On AC Power, and that seemed to help, but it didn't fix it completely. I really don't know what else to do. I also want to know, is this normal? It seems like a pretty annoying feature, and I would be surprised if everybody's laptop was like that.

Laptop Shuts Down when Unplugged

Yes I did, but that didn't work either.

How do I drain my battery? My laptop won't stay on for longer than a couple minutes when unplugged.

Could you please list down the steps for solutions 4 and 5?

Laptop freezing and running slowly when on Netflix

Power outage when Using RBE

Okay so we have a problem.

PCI card is here Rage128pro 32mb *Laugh :laugh:

Steps;
Set bios to boot PCI-PCI-E-PCI-X

Boots without a problem with just pci
(here is the problem)
When plugged 5770 in With 6pin power i have no post, (all steps tried....)
When 6pin unpluged i get post??

with 6pin unpluged i get into dos i run atiflash -i but only get a listing from the ATIRagepro

Any Ideas?
