Windows 10: my laptop screen has horizontal lines all of sudden one day ago after few hours it went...

my laptop screen has horizontal lines all of sudden one day ago after few hours it went back to normal next day when i opened my laptop half of my laptop screen has horizontal lines half of it is quite clear i could not understand the problem could you help me with that there are many sugestion i reinstalled drivers started my computer in safe mode i also run hardware diagnostic and performed almost all procedures from microsoft community

Lenovo 14s display - unreadable with horizontal and vertical lines.

Today my Lenovo 14s screen is now showing all horizontal and vertical lines, and is absolutely unreadable. Even the red Lenovo boot screen is all horizontal lines, and unreadable. Suggestions. By the way, the warranty expired on October 31, 2023, like just ten days ago. *Banghead Not that it really matters, but Win 10 64 2H22.

• Laptop model
• How old is your laptop/ How long have you been using it?
• Did you make any significant changes in your system before it happened? (e.g. installing software, changing settings, etc.)
• Do the colored lines also appear on the screen when you first turn it on (BIOS or boot startup) or does it only appear when you're logged in?
• Do you encounter any specific error messages when the screen freezes?

Here are some of the things you can do for basic troubleshooting and isolation:

• If you have a second monitor, try to connect it to your laptop and see if the lines still appear.
  
• Perform a hard reset on your laptop (press and hold the power button to turn it off then remove it from the power supply). This will clear all the residual power that may have accumulated during use.

Flickering horizontal lines on screen

Hi,

so I was normally using my laptop which I've had for about a year now and all of a sudden the screen froze with all these horizontal stripes. I couldn't do anything so I had to hold the on/off button to shut it down. Once on again it still has these horizontal
lines. I can still do everything, it's all working and I haven't lost anything but I have these flickering lines that are unbearable, hurts my eyes. If I look closely I can see that in these stripes there's the image of my desktop which is what was displayed
on the screen when it froze, but it doesn't go away, it's basically like having an extra layer over my screen.

What's the problem and mostly how do I fix it? It's very strange.
