Windows 10: My laptop shows BSOD when I put WiFi password

I'm using the Mecer X140C-Xpress-G 500g storage and 4g ram. I recently got a new router from my ISP the model is a AX3600. When I insert the password my laptop freezes the shows BSOD with DPC_WATCHDOG violation and restarts. I tried to create a restore point and it worked. The following day the BSOD appeared again before I could even sign into my pc. I just took the lan cable from my old router connected to my new router to share the connection. I even had to reset my laptop but to no avail. But what I don't understand is why my laptop won't allow connection from my AX3600 router and what can

I got to the network and sharing center, but, there was not

I would like to change my wifi password, but I don't know the user name or password.*cry I do know the ip address. My desktop computer is connected with an ethernet connection. I have the option of wifi and/or ethernet, the ethernet is much faster so I use the ethernet connection. I also have a laptop computer and connect to the internet via wifi. I have given out the current password to several people, but now I would like to be more selective on who gets my wifi password. Everything in Windows 10, and my internet work very well. I am a satisfied user of Windows 10. *chuckle I have tried the reset button on the back of the router, holding it for 10 seconds to return to factory settings, but that has not worked. I've removed the power cord for a couple of minutes to, didn't work either. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to change the password and user name on my router. Thanks to all who reply.

 

How can I find the password for my Windows 10 laptop?

I found a solution to my problem. What I did was:

1. Open Network & Sharing Center on the laptop.
2. Click "Change advanced sharing settings"
3. Expand the "All Networks" item.
4. Change "Password protected sharing" from On to Off.

Now when I click my laptop name in File Explorer > Networks, it just shows my shared folder without asking for a network credentials password. This is how it used to work before.
