Windows 10: My laptop sound suddenly stopped working.

My laptop sound suddenly stopped working. It was working before i switched off my laptop a few hours ago and when i turned it own, there was suddenly no sound. I have tried checking the sound settings but still nothing. Please help

i am experiencing sound problems on my laptop, my laptop is windows 10, after i turned on my laptop sounds still working but after 10 to 20 minutes of use the sounds suddenly stops working and does not came back until i finish using it there's an error saying
that "turn off other device".

should i update my sound driver or uninstall and reinstall my driver?

 

Sound suddenly stopped working

Hello team,

Need your immediate assistance again. I opened my laptop this morning and noticed that the sound suddenly stopped working. It was okay when I was watching Netflix last night to midnight.

I followed this YouTube video - - and I was able to regain the sound when I plug-in and use my headphone.

The problem now is that the sound of the laptop itself is not working whenever I use the laptop to produce the sound.

May you please assist me with this?

Notification sounds suddenly stopped working

Sounds for Windows 10 notifications suddenly stopped working. These are the banners that appear on the lower right when a new email arrives, or for example, a newsflash from CNN or WSJ, etc. I still see the banners, but there is no sound.

I have already checked the following:

• Notification options in Windows 10 "Settings"
• Sound settings in Outlook 2016 (sounds in Outlook work except for new email notification)
• "Quiet hours" option
• Ran MS sounds diagnostic tool; indicated it made some changes but the problem persists
  

When I first used "Quiet Hours" it muted sounds 24/7, not just between midnight and 6 AM. I am wondering if "Quiet Hours" is now "stuck" in the mute mode, even though the icon indicates it is turned off.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
