Windows 10: My laptop speaker randomly starts emitting a buzzing sound while playing audio.

Hello.I have a Windows 10 HP Envy and for about a year, whenever I'm playing audio the speaker will randomly start emitting a buzzing sound, like static. It first happened a year ago when I was playing Witcher 3. The game stuttered for a few seconds and after it went back to normal, the audio was accompanied by this static. Every time this happened, I would have to close the game and restart my laptop and that seemed to fix the issue. At first, it only happened while I was playing Witcher 3. Since then, I've finished the game and uninstalled it and now the static happens very often, whether I'

Laptop audio buzzing, and physical Laptop popping.

I'm having some odd issues with my audio. I should note that these problems started after I started using an external monitor as my only display, they didn't start immediately after so it's hard for me to make out any correlation. Also this likely is not related but the first time the issue started I had accidently pinched my plugged in earphones between my table and elbow.

I use wired earphones, and they are always plugged in.



-Randomly the audio from the headphones will just start buzzing, more accurately described as high pitched screeching. This happens both when I'm not playing any audio or when I do play audio.

-When the buzzing starts I'll notice my volume controls start to lag.

-If I unplug the headphones while it's buzzing sometimes the buzzing will transfer over to my built-in speakers even though the volume for those speakers is always off.

-Also from time to time if I unplug and plug in the headphones while experiencing buzzing the buzzing may stop but the audio will come from the built-in speakers instead of the headphones, even though they are plugged in.

-Randomly my Laptop will literally make a loud popping/crack sound, I'm not sure if it's coming from the speakers or something else but the Physical laptop vibrates when it happens. This happens even when I'm not using it nor is any audio playing. Right after it happens the headphones will start to buzz.

So far I have uninstalled all the audio drivers multiple times and restarted. I've tried other headphones. I've disconnected the HDMI. Nothing seems to be the cause or the solution. I have no clue what's happening.

 

Buzzing sound from speakers.

My one-month-old Lenovo laptop randomly started to make a kind of annoying buzzing sound while playing audio.

I have all the drivers updated, and also tried trouble shooting.

i dont know if this is a hardware issue. Can anyone advise me on how to fix this.

 

ASUS laptop randomly started making buzzing sound

Sometimes it sounds like a taser, and other times it sounds like a high pitched buzzing sound.

Been looking for answers on the internet to see what I could do, but nothing seems to help. Read that I'm supposed to update audio drivers- but they're all up to date. It happens when my headphones are both plugged in and aren't, when I play sound (when I mute or turn the sound all the way to 0, it still happens), and basically happens when I'm watching youtube videos, playing audio/video files, and playing video games.

This all started happening a few days ago. It's not a constant thing. The sound will randomly happen and won't stop until I shut down my laptop. Sometimes I'll stop and close whatever I'm doing, and yeah it'll stop, but if I try to do something else, it'll resume.
