Windows 10: My Laptop Stopped Working and an Error Screen Appeared. Can it be a Virus?

Hello,I have a Thinkpad laptop with Windows 11 -- which was upgraded from Windows 10 -- and earlier tonight it stopped working, an error message appeared, and then a white screen with a bios/boot and an app option appeared. I can't remember what was on the whole screen, but nothing when I pressed bios and app nothing happened, and when I pressed Control, Alt, Delete, it brought me back to the same white screen. I finally pressed, again on the white screen, a button that ran some diagnostics, and then my home screen came back.My question: I read that certain viruses can cause this type of stopp

Laptop with broken screen How much?

I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd

Hmm. Either it's put out errors and WCG is limiting the work units available, or the project list may not be set to supply other WU when one runs out. (if the problem lies here and not on your end)

On the options to your left, if you go into Results Status, select the computer from Device Name and then look through results see if either they were returned late, errors or any other kind of issue that would stop the servers supplying WU from that perspective.

If there are no errors then it's maybe down to your project list. So selecting Device Manager from the left menu and then clicking on the profile assigned to that computer and make sure that it's assigned to receive WU for other projects if they run out.

At least those steps will rule out problems from the WCG end.

 

Calendar Notifications Stopped Working / Appearing

My Calendar notifications have stopped working.
The Calendar App is working fine and I have no problem adding events.
When I navigate to Settings > System > Notifications the Calendar App does not appear. See screen shot below.
I am used to relying on the Calendar notifications or reminders, any suggestions are appreciated.
