Windows 10: My Laptop Suddenly Lost its WiFi Connection

I was using my laptop Asus Vivobook S15 for meeting and watching YouTube videos nothing heavy. It was fine and then suddenly it turned into blue screen. I waited until it restarted. Afterwards I couldn't connect to WiFi. I have followed the troubleshooting advices and restarted a couple of times and still have no change. I have no second laptop. What should I do?

suddenly my laptop can't connect with wifi and the wifi name changes.
as an example

real wifi name: himax_y12

WiFi name listed on the laptop: hieax_y12

 

2 laptops suddenly cannot log onto wifi.

Have 2 Win-10 laptops that were doing fine - Nighthawk R700P set up many months ago. Suddenly both cannot log onto wifi. Going to list of available networks, choosing "home" and disconnecting and then reconnect does not help. Suggestions? Not the greatest computer wizards here.

Lenovo laptop wanted latest Windows update; upon rebooting everything seems fine. Other machine is actually an HP all-o\in-one, not actual laptop - but Win10 anyway. Will check if update is needed.

Now HP is OK as well. Problem began there yesterday and on Lenovo today but now both seem OK. Curiouser & curiouser as Alice said; sorry to have taken up your time.

 

Lost internet connection after upgrading to Windows 10.

after downloading windows 10, i had no internet wifi connections. tried almost everything from community.

I downloaded talent driver network software to an

external drive using another computer and then ran the set up on non internet computer. Wifi networks reappeared and I was able to get on the internet and download some apps but connects lost by the next day when turned on computer, Again unable to get
on internet and network adapters not listed. Talent driver software no longer effective.

tried INFO GROUND(/) STEP 1. NO CHANGED...no connections listed.
