Windows 10: My laptop suffered a critical stop code and I cannot seem to log into the account stored on...

My hp lapt, ran into critical stop code upon attempting to install update. The email account ony laptop's screen to restore to an earlier time isnt working? I really need a resolution....

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

Fix stop code: critical process died.

I turned off my pc during an update and now get stop code: critical process died. My laptop uses Windows 10 32bit. It has gone through the self-repair and I've tried a restart and other suggested fixes to no avail. What can I do?

 

Laptop no longer hibernates on critical power

Hi Mike,

The laptop's battery is possibly wearing out. Since you haven't change any settings, we suggest that you change the critical battery level a bit higher so that your laptop can perform a hibernation on a much higher percentage than the default. Follow the
steps below:

• Type Power Options on the Start menu search bar.
• Under Battery, click on Critical battery level.
• Chang the default percentage to 10% or higher.
• Click on Apply.
