Windows 10: My Laptop turns off few minutes after connecting it to an external monitor USB type c...

My laptop does these quite often, it shows me a black screen after a few minutes of connecting to an external monitor. I always have to force restart it whenever that happens. After I do that it always shows me that the system went through some issues and needs to be restarted. This doesn't happen all the time but is frequent enough to raise an issue.

I am unable to connect my DELL monitor with my laptop using HP Docking station as it is giving limited or no connectivity message. The docking station is connected to the laptop through TYPE C USB.

Can anyone suggest any solution for it?

The dock is working perfectly as I connected my other laptop and was able to succesfully connect external monitor.

In my opinion,there seems to be some driver issue.

take a look at my comments.

1. Which build version of Windows 10 are you using currently? > V 1903 (Build 18362.449)
   
2. Are you aware of any changes made to the PC prior to which you weren’t facing this issue? > NO, it's a clean Windows System
   
3. Are you using a docking station? > NO!
   
4. Have you tried connecting the external monitor using HDMI connection? > The monitor works with USB-C and HDMI. However, it only works with USB-C if I use the USB-C power supply at the same time. If I only use the USB-C monitor (with battery operation)
   and the battery is full (charged by the USB-C monitor), then the monitor no longer works.
