my laptop unable to connect to chrome or microsoft edge at first start it takes almost 10 min and once it is connected it works as normal i tried cleaning dns cache but no use and i have found that when i open chrome for the first time it shows connecting at left bottom corner for more than 10min i have these problem from about a month and i didnt found solution for this i have also reset my laptop but no use

some one plss help

Also, we suggest that you reset Microsoft Edge by following these steps:

• Click on Start.
• Type Apps & features, and then press Enter.

• Click on Advanced options link.
• Click on Reset button.
• Click on Reset button again to confirm.

Edge Import Bookmarks from Chrome does not work

Hi,

To resolve your issue with Microsoft Edge, we suggest that you clear your browsing data. Please follow the steps below:

• Click on the 3 dots at the upper right corner of Edge.
• Go to Settings.
• Go to Clear browsing data.
• Click on Choose what to clear > Clear.
• Try to import your bookmarks from Chrome to Microsoft Edge.

Microsoft Edge TLS Security

After trying everything (not a lot of steps) listed in the Microsoft Edge support site, I did a wider search and found this very simple youtube video that fixed it immediately:

For those who prefer not to click links the steps are simple:

1. Click in the Cortana search bar next to the Win 10 Start button

2. Type internet options

3. Select internet options (control panel) from the list

4. Click on the advanced tab

5. Scroll down to the security section

6. Make sure the following are all clicked:
Use SSL 3.0
Use TLS 1.0
Use TLS 1.1
Use TLS 1.2

7. Click apply

8. Refresh the page that was giving the error and it should now connect.

Hope this helps, it was a 30 second fix after hours of pounding my head against the error with the Support site suggestions.
