    My Laptop Uses 50% ram while idle


    is this normal? its 10% more because i was making a screenshot as you can see everything is closed and my laptop supports windows 11 officially My Laptop is Acer Aspire A11-33 it doesen't have any trouble with programs i use its just the ram also i have 9gb of ram 4gb real physical ram and 5gb virtual ram i created in the control panel

    RAM usage 50±% on idle.

    Hello, my laptop uses around 50% RAM usage when its not doing anything.

    I'd like to have this fixed.

    My Laptop Uses 50% ram while idle

    50% of RAM consumed when laptop is IDLE

    I have a HP laptop with intel i5-8265U CPU @ 1.60HZ and 8GB RAM. Its bootup time is almost 5 minutes and even when I am not using any windows applications or running just one tab in the Chrome browser the RAM utilization becomes 50% or more. On running 5-6 tabs in Chrome the RAM utilization increases to up 85% which makes my laptop very slow and difficult to use.

    I have tried few hacks as suggested on the internet like virtual memory change and disabling app during startup but to no avail. I checked my graphics driver also and they are updated too.

    Please advise me how can I troubleshoot my laptop as it is getting very difficult for me to use it for daily tasks. Below are few a few supporting screenshots:

    P.S. The task manager screenshot was taken when just a single website was running in the chrome browser.
