Windows 10: My laptop volume goes to 0 when I load a game.

I have an Asus ROG Flow X13 laptop, and every time I open a game Call of Duty, Minecraft, Rocket League the volume goes down to 0. Even if I just tab out of the game and then come back, the volume will be at 0. If I turn it up it stays up so long as the game stays open. Is there a setting for this or something?

Memory controller load 1% in-game

Whenever I play a game for about 3-10 mins, the GPU's memory controller load drops to 1/0% and the GPU load goes to 99% - this happens in all games. The temperature doesn't exceed 83 C, with an average of 74 C.

It started about 2 months ago, but has gotten very bad recently. I have the latest drivers etc. and have had the system (a laptop) since december '10.

Anyone had this problem? Any suggestions.

1. After opening the game, right click on the sound icon in the taskbar and select "open volume mixer".

2. If the particular game is listed, turn down the volume and check the result.

Volume goes to zero and mute.

If the volume of your computer automatically mutes, it could be that the audio drivers are corrupted or damaged, or that there are software conflicts occurring within the system. As a first troubleshooting step, we suggest that you run the audio troubleshooter
and lets Windows find and automatically resolve problems with your audio. Here's how to run the audio troubleshooter:

• Select the Start button, then type troubleshoot, and select
  Troubleshoot from the list of results. From there, select
  Playing Audio > Run the troubleshooter.

If the troubleshooter does not help resolve the problem with your volume settings, we suggest that you check Device Manager and update your sound card drivers. Updating would replace any corrupted or damaged components of the audio driver. Here's how to
update your audio drivers through Device Manager:

• Open the Start button, then type device manager, and select
  Device Manager from the search results.
• Under Sound, video and game controllers, right-click your sound card driver, then select
  Update Driver.
• Select Search automatically search for updated driver software.

If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you may look for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions on how to install their driver.
