    My laptop was just frozen by BitLocker. I didn't know what BitLocker was till I got locked out of my own laptop. I started looking it up, and come to find out it was on my computer and I didn't know it. And because I didn't know it was there let alone even know what it was before this happened, I did not back up the recovery password anywhere. One, I don't understand why Microsoft would put encryption on my computer and put me in jeopardy of getting locked out of my own computer and not notify me of the presence of the software and the additional steps I would need to take to protect mys
