Windows 10: My laptop was stuck on the spinning dot after the ASUS logo, how can I solve this problem?

I was downloading something and fall a sleep, and when I woke up suddenly it already in spinning dot situation, I thought it was an update so I ignore it, but now it's been a couple of hours already, I restrated it and still stuck in here

ASUS Laptop stuck on ASUS Logo with spinning circle under it

Hello im having a problem with my ASUS Laptop K401U. It just started about 2 hours ago, so whenever I turn on my laptop it just stuck on the ASUS Logo with spinning circle under itI still can access the BIOS, but dont know what to do about it though.

I didnt install any update for windows before this.


I tried searching for solutions in youtube and many other forums, some said try to restart the laptop few times until "automatic repair" comes up, by holding the power button until it is turned off. I already restarted more than 10 times already and the automatic repair thing doesnt show up. It looks like this:

The BIOS update suggestion posted above by @Jegler helped me, @guhanath. I was on version 1.10 and updated to 1.90. The steps I took after that were just doing the official Windows 10 upgrade procedure.

Then the Windows 10 installation went without a hitch, and I'm no longer on Windows 7. I'm going to consider this solved, thank you @Jelger for the suggestion to update the BIOS!

 

Stuck boot loop asus logo

Pls help I reset windows 10 now laptop stuck at boot up with asus logo stays like 2 mins boots back to asus logo can access bios f2 but that's all changed bios to boot cd/DVD/USB nothing happens 2days read articles nothing solves problem F9 does not work
for recovery only f2 for bios reason I reset windows 10 was not running properly after updates laptop only 6 months old been running with problems after upgrade windows 10
