Windows 10: My laptop will randomly crash after playing games, then will crash multiple times after...

Laptop crash issue

Hey guys, my roommate's laptop seems to randomly crash to a bluescreen when he hooks up an external display. His laptop is a gateway e475m. His graphics chip is a ati 2300. It just hooks up vga style. It doesn't seem to do it when its idleing but if we watch a video or surf the web or play a game, it crashes. THanks ahead of time.

 

Microsoft Games Randomly Crashing

I have a Game Pass subscription and have it linked with my children's profiles. This means while they connect and game via their individual profiles, their xbox/Microsoft store is managed/signed into my profile.

Multiple games from the Microsoft store have been crashing. This has happened on multiple computers, multiple games and multiple profiles. In particular these crashes have been occurring in multiplayer games such as Minecraft Dungeons and Ark Survival Evolved.
The crashes occur at random intervals. They seem to happen more often when we have more than one of my family playing the same game on different computers.

Minecraft Dungeons the crashes occur to everyone regardless of who the host is.

Ark Survival the crashes tend to happen to everyone but the host of the non-dedicated server. Testing indicates the crashes are more frequent when more than 1 of us are playing the same game regardless of being on the same server.

Example

While playing Ark I connected and played on a friends hosted Non-dedicated server. The game was working fine until one of my children began playing Ark on their individual profiles. Once they began playing my game began randomly crashing at varying intervals
10-15 Min. I then would have to wait for the server I was previously connected to to timeout my connection or restart before I am able to reconnect.

This is just one example and have experienced similar occurrences on other games. This seems to only happen in multiplayer games. Single player games have been unaffected.

All computers have the most recent updates and restarting or reinstalling the games has had no effect.

All computers are running Windows 10.

All computers have the Xbox App installed as well as the Xbox Game Bar.

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
