Windows 10: My Laptop wont connect to 802.11ax wireless mode even tho it is supported by my wifi driver

When i try do change my wireless mode to 802.11ax or 802.11ac my laptop just wont connect to the internet and the way it can connect to it is by disabling it.Also my laptop would connect to the wireless modes normally but for the past week it is not able to. also i have tried some commands on cmd such as netsh int ip reset, winsock reset and the usual ipconfig /renew etc.Wifi driver: Wi-Fi 6 AX201 latest driver

What kind of wi-fi card to receive 5 GHZ signals

Actually, if you want to future proof it a bit, get a WiFi 6 802.11ax card.

Broadcom 802. 11abgn wireless sdio adapter

My asus t200 transformer book has the Broadcom 802. 11abgn wireless sdio adapter.
Recently, my PC started having serious issues with connecting to public wifi.
Everytime I try, my PC says my wireless adapter is experiencing driver or hardware related issues, and the wireless function shuts down entirely.

Restarting, enabling and disabling and so forth doesn't solve the problem, only a full uninstall of the device and a clean install of most recent drivers fixes the issue, until next time I try connecting to a public wifi.

My Asus runs window 10 64bit.

Any ideas?

 

Why a wifi adapter would suddenly not support wireless N mode?

I have my router set up to only allow n mode (802.11 N Support Required). This has worked to perfection for the last couple months. I started my laptop today and it refuses to connect to the Wifi, which has not happened before. After toying around I figured out that the adapter only wants to connect when wireless N support required is off. I tried updating drivers, netsh shows that it supports n mode, and no updates to the system have taken place. This is sudden and without any found cause. Are there any solutions for this? I have Windows 10 x64 Professional, and Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205 Wifi adapter.
