    My laptop won't let me sign in unless it's connected to the internet. What can I do?


    When I turn on the laptop, it goes to one of my user names and doesn't let me sign in first. Then it tells me that I have to be connected to the internet before I can sign in. I just want to open MSWord and finish my paper! What can I do?

    Cannot sign into laptop without having an internet connection

    After recently updating laptop, I can no longer sign in unless I have an internet connection.

    I have tried to reset the PIN and the Password to no avail.

    Will be going on holiday soon and would like to be able to use my laptop without having an internet connection.

    Thanks in advance for any help and/or suggestions!
