Windows 10: My laptop won't open setting or the start key on Windows 10

I've had this laptop for almost 3 years, it is an msi GL63 8RC. Recently I left for the weekend, but when I came back home I booted it up like normal and I couldn't open up notifications. I went to the start key to open settings but it wouldn't work either and when I looked up a fix, I ran into multiple problems. I found a way to open settings without the start key, but it didn't work. I used powershell multiple times, I've restarted my laptop more times then I can count, and I can't even factory reset my laptop. When I try to factory reset it says there was an issue and no changes were made. What I want is for someone on this forum to tell me if there is any way I can fix my laptop.

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: Run Windows app troubleshooter.

Step 2: Run shell commands for Windows store and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Command prompt(Admin) to open elevated Command prompt.
  
• 
  Type the following commands.
  
  
  
  powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml
  
• 
  Hit enter, the blackscreen will appear still for a couple of seconds. After a couple of second a new line saying C:\.... will appear.
  
• 
  Close Command Prompt.
  
• 
  Try to start the Windows Store again.

I can´t open the Windows menu, start settings or start explorer on Windows 10.

Hey again. the first part of your sugestion are not possible as i said before in my text so won´t settings start att all even by doing it this way by pressing "Windows key + X". The second thing u suggested i will try that as fast as i get home.

 

Windows 10 won´t start any program as Administrator

Hello. I´m having this issue since installed one of the latest Windows 10 system updates.

When I try to open any program that requires Administrator confirmation (that screen with the Yes/No question), this dialog won´t appear anymore. The screen background stays darkened and nothing happens.

1. Using Windows 10 Home (x64)
2. My microsoft user account is properly checked
3. I´m the administrator of the PC
4. Already tried do create another administrator user account - same problem, no success
5. Cannot start any program/service that requires administrator authorization (not even regedit)

Please help!
