    My laptop won't stay shut down


    I'm having the exact same issue this user had 5 years ago: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/laptop-turns-on-itself-instantly-after-a-normal/ca4b54d2-86af-4d74-9df0-43adeedaec93The problem is that the settings the answer gives I can either not find or no longer exists in the newest Windows edition. Please help, I have to hold the power button down just to get my laptop to stay off and that cannot be good for it.

    Store Settings "Update apps automatically" won`t stay switched off. WHY?

    In Settings in Store I set "Update apps automatically" to Off.

    When I go back in again it`s set back to On. Why won`t it stay switched Off?

    How do I get this stupid **** to DO WHAT I TELL IT and SWITCH OFF?

    What`s the point of having a Setting that you can`t Set?
