Windows 10: My laptop won't turn on.

I logged into my laptop and it brought me back to the internet browser I'd left up from my last use. I tried to close the window, but it was frozen. I used ctr-alt-del to close it instead. After that, the cursor would move around, but there was no response to left or right clicking. I tried the Windows key to bring up the start menu, but that did nothing. I then tried the power button, but that also was not working.At this point, because the battery does not hold a charge for more than a minute or 2, I unplugged the power cord from the laptop. I hoped the shut down would correct this issues, b

• Check and verify if Cortana is activated?
• Does Cortana search and gives any output/result on screen?
• Is the Language and region settings set to valid value?
• Check and verify if Cortana available in your region?

Method 1:

I suggest you to try to turn Cortana off and then try turning it on back and check if she talks. Refer to the steps below to turn Off and On Cortana:

• Open Cortana.
• Click the hamburger button in the top left of the window.
• Go to Settings and click on off.
• Follow the same steps to turn it on.
• Check if issue persists.
