    i tried installing a ddr4 16 gig ram into my hp pavilion laptop, it supports up to 32 gig ram as a maximum, when i tried putting my 16 gig ram in my screen remained black wouldnt boot up and when i took it out and put the 4 gig ram back in, it works same as always its thsoe blue textured laptops hp sells please help me

    I want 16 gigs of ram for now .I have only 130 dollars at the moment. So maybe i can only get one stick for now .
    From watching videos, the ram is accessible with a little effort.

    But what kind of ram ? DDR3 8 gigs each ? Sodium ? Un-Buffered? How many teeth ?

    This is the first time shopping for ram upgrade for a laptop .
