Windows 10: My laptop's brightness goes black when i try to decrease it.

So here is the problem. I bought an Asus laptop a while ago and for some reason the brightness couldn't decrease. I tried to download the drivers, I've tried reinstalling them. But the problem was still there. It is just that it I decrease it at all below 100 it will go black, and it has other issues too. The screen used to flicker if unplugged from charger to a point that it is painful to watch. That somehow got better when I formatted and reinstalled windows now it flickers badly if it gets below 20% battery and often when it gets below 40%. Now I am stuck with applications like EyeUcare to stop my eyes from burning out. But they only help so much. 100% brightness at night is bad. My laptop is "Asus X555UJ"

and the specs are as follows:

Please help me solve this problem. I am more concerned about the brightness. I usually keep my laptop plugged so I don't mind the flickering as much. Thank you.

Can't increase/decrease the brightness after updating to windows 10 Enterprise and Laptop's LCD goes black/off after updating "Microdoft Basic Display Aadapter"

I have installed windows 10 Enterprise in my Laptop Dell 5110, core i5 2nd generation with Intel 2GB Graphic card. After installing the windows, I was unable to increase or decrease the brightness of my laptop, then I search this problem online and a find a
solution to update the display driver but after updating the display driver my Laptop's LCD goes totally black or may it was turned off after updating driver, please resolve my issue.

To adjust the brightness, see the steps below:

• Go back to Power Options, and tick on the High performance.
• See if you can adjust the brightness.

If this not work, we highly suggest that you create an Administrator account, and re-do the steps above.

Black Screen after Log on

Laptop or Desktop (Very important) Windows 10 build 14.586 has a very annoying BUG: That causes Black Screen after login:
To date there is no cure until Microsoft send Update to fix the problem: OK here goes: When you Login and the Screen Goes Black ==>
Go to your Function Keys for Screen Brightness Chose to Lighten the Screen (This will make the screen Bright) so that you can view it.
The BUG is that they reversed (via Software) what the Brightness button does -- So it is currently reversed -- "Lighten" makes it Dark -- "Darken" makes it Bright ==> Go figure Microsoft screw the pooch on this one. . . .

This is for LAPTOP -- I have never seen this on Desktops but they are fixed rather than adjustable
