Windows 10: My laptop's built-in camera has stopped working and the camera Fn key does nothing. Help?

My laptop is Lenovo Yoga C940.Recently I was video calling a friend using Discord. The laptop's built-in microphone isn't great and they couldn't hear me clearly, so I grabbed my USB webcam Logitech V-U0018 from my desktop, to plug in for the microphone. That worked fine, and the usb webcame itself functions fine too. But ever since, my laptop's built-in webcam has not worked, whether or not the other webcam is plugged in; it does not activate. There's no error message because Windows seems to think the camera works even though it is locked to being disabled now.The camera light shows correc

Camera not working

This is not a plug and play device, it's built into my laptop.. lol.

Sorry my bad for not mentioning, the program does install and seem to work fine. It did work when I first installed it, but it stopped working. Even if I freshly reinstall.

Errors are as followed..

When I open the program:

A webcam was not found or is not working properly.
Please click connect button and try again.

When I click the connect button....

Camera not found. The camera is in use by another application, or not connected. Make sure the camera is connected and working properly, then try again.

It is connected properly, and there are no other programs running in the back ground.

settings to see if the camera access is turned on. Kindly follow the steps below to check the camera privacy settings:

• Press the Windows key + I to open the Settings app.
• Near the top of the Settings app window is the search box, kindly type the word "webcam" or "camera".
• From the list of results choose Camera privacy settings.
• Make sure that "Let apps use my camera" toggle is set to On.

built in camera on the laptop

I am unable to use the built-in camera on my laptop. I looked at the replies to questions similar to mine and one exactly like mine. I have gone to device manager several times and no camera is listed, thee audio is listed but no camera. I cannot update
software drivers or make software compatible(I have windows10) because there is no app or device listed. What can i do?
