Windows 10: My laptop´s camera stopped working after last update on 01/11/2024 package

Hi,Microsoft Windows 10 Home 10.0.19045 / Toshiba SATELLITE S50-BAfter the update package on January 11th, 2024 my camera stopped working. First, when I turned on it turned off by itself. Since January 19th, 2024, it doesn't work at all. I followed all the troubleshooting steps Microsoft suggested, none of which resolved the issue. There is no message of error. Unable to install 2024-01 Cumulative Updates for Windows 11

I've tried the Windows Troubleshooter, and I disabled Malwarebytes (I primarily use Windows Defender, so I didn't need it running as well), and I've tried restarting a couple times.

But the following two updates refuse to install, and I keep receiving error code 0x80070020 for:

• 2024-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034123)
  
• 2024-01 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5033920)
  

What do I need to do, to get these updates to install?

I'm running Windows 11 Home (version 22H2).

Not sure if it's extraneous info but my processor is a 12th Gen Intel i7, with 32GB of RAM.

2024-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 delayed usb and error on install.

Had issues installing this update with some weird delayed usb devices on pin login after install on 3 computers in my home then the same on my parents computer with usb delay at pin login screen and also the update failing and stuck at 0% for 15 plus minutes after an install failure. I gave up on their system, am going to try again tomorrow.



Also what I mean with USB delayed is mouse keyboard, and usb wifi delay and don't work at the pin login screen then after 10 - 15 seconds they finally are detected and start working. Have never had this problem until the new updates rolled out on Jan 9th 2024. Is there perhaps a rollback or fix coming for this?

"2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034441)" in 64-bit W10 Pro.

I've experienced the same update problem. I tried running the Powershell script (from here: KB5034957: Updating the WinRE partition on deployed devices to address security vulnerabilities in CVE-2024-20666 - Microsoft Support) but it still failed as follows:

The script continued, invoked WinRE, unmounted the image, and concluded "The operation completed successfully" even though it didn't.

I'm running this on an older Windows 10 Professional edition running build version 22H2 10.0.19045.3930. It's a laptop without a TPM and Bitlocker is disabled.

The "unsupported OS" version warning leads me to think that there is an incompatibility between my OS version, the WinRE version, and the Security Update's expectations of the minimum OS environment that it requires.

Seems like Microsoft didn't test all the OS configuration variants on this update package....
