Windows 10: my laptops os is using too much ram

i have an asus strix g15 16gb ram rtx 2060 and an i7 10750h and the system os is uasing waaaay to much ram while i have nothing open at all i thought that mayb is just the laptops model so one day my firend got the same laptop model and hes using wayyy les ram than me when idle when i say idle i mean the device had just opend all these apps use about 0.1mb of ram on my firends laptop plz help and thank u

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

To RAM or not to RAM...

Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

Or you could go out on the town as suggested... *Big Grin
