    Hello, this is my first posting here. I am having difficulty burning DVDs with my LG Slim Portable DVD writer, the model number is SP80NB80. I am using an HP Envy x360 laptop and am running Windows 11. e thing I'm confused about is, this device can read discs properly and play them as well as rip them if need be, it just can't write. I've used IMGBurn to try to burn the ISO file and no dice. Any advice here would be most appreciated.

    I just received my new LG slim portable external DVD writer and cannot get it to work. I have Windows 10 on my laptop. I have inserted the DVD that came with it and it seems to be read and a few minutes later the writer opens and says insert DVD. I have
    done this but am unable to open or view my DVD. When I open documents to check Drive E it is not there. Any suggestions on how to get this to work?

    Your suggestions did not work. I already have an older version of the same DVD Writer and it works fine. I am not sure what to do to make the new one work. I want to be able to clone a DVD I made for a backup. Do you know if you can have 2 external
    DVD Writers working at the same time? That is one with the DVD I want to clone and the other to burn onto a blank disc.
