Windows 10: My "Line Out" jack/port on the back of my PC suddenly stopped working - No Audio - The port...

My Line Out speaker port has stopped playing audio through any connected device, I've tried both my speakers and my headphones. Audio is registered as playing in the sound settings menu I have visual feedback on the audio bar however no sound actually is heard. I have tried reinstalling drivers, using the default troubleshoot wizard on Windows 10, disconnecting and enabling devices in device settings. I have also tried updating my BIOS, and tried to check for driver updates to the Audio Drivers available under Devices. I'm running out of solutions to try and to why this has happened. My PC w

Combo Jack to single PC audio port

My brother is going to buy a Razer Electra headset, but there is a problem with the mic, It uses a combo jack, in which both the mic and the audio are combined in a single jack(three lines). like what iPod and most Phones use. and that he will use it primarily with his Desktop PC, which uses the traditional green,pink,etc jacks.

So how do I know if a certain motherboard, sound card or port supports this combo jack thingy? or the only choice is to buy an adapter? and What's the proper term for this "combo jack"?

and while you're at it, any suggestions for a headset(with a proper mic) at the same price range? he will use it for gaming primarily Battlefield 3, and It needs to have a good Bass.

usb 3.0 ports stopped working suddenly on pc windows 10

usb 3.0 ports just stopped working suddenly. ports are on the back of pc running windows 10. pc is a Lenovo h530 and is new(2 months). moved the 3.0 ss cable to usb 2.0 port and it is working there.

 

LAN Port stopped working suddenly

Hello everyone,

I came home yesterday to find that my PC in my specs had no Internet connection. I narrowed it down to be the PC itself and not any cables/modem/router etc. Now I went ahead and tried uninstalling and installing the LAN drivers again but it doesn't detect a LAN port.

At this point it gives me an error message and states that the Realtek Ethernet Controller could be in "Deep Sleep Mode". To connect the cable to get it going. However cable is connected and verified to work.

I've googled intensively and have tried many suggestions such as certain command prompts, registry edits, special permissions, and different methods of installing the drivers.

Is my LAN Port dead, or something else might be the issue? Please note we did have a power outage yesterday as my other PC had also restarted like the one with the problem did. The second PC is perfectly fine though. Any other suggestions and/or advice? Thanks in advance. *Toast :toast:
