Missing field Connect using in Local Area Connection Properties

Have you tried uninstalling the Network Adapter? Since there is no properties in the Local Area Connection, we suggest that you uninstall the Network Adapter. Follow the steps below:

Press Windows Key + R.

Type devmgmt.msc.

Right click on the Network Adapter.

Select Uninstall.

Select Ok.

Select Scan for Hardware changes.

Update us on the results.

Ethernet Light Orange/ "Local Area Network" Not in Network List

Last night I noticed my ethernet light on the back of my computer was orange. I did some research to find the reason. Some websites said it was an increased connection speed. Others said a problem with the connection.
The local area network is no longer in the list of network connections and the other computer in my house has a green light on the ethernet port.
I've used all the cmd.exe ipconfig steps suggested by websites. Flush dns, reset dns, etc. I've also used the network troubleshooter in windows10 which told me a problem was not found.
Nothing seems to change the light back to green. Can someone help me find the problem so I can fix it?

The Local Area Connection Missing Windows 10 error may be caused by windows system files damage. The corrupted system files entries can be a real threat to the wellbeing of your computer.

There can be many events which may have resulted in the system files errors. An incomplete installation, an incomplete uninstall, improper deletion of applications or hardware. It can also be caused if your computer is recovered from a virus or adware/spyware
attack or by an improper shutdown of the computer. All the above actives may result in the deletion or corruption of the entries in the windows system files. This corrupted system file will lead to the missing and wrongly linked information and files needed
for the proper working of the application.

A quick question before we proceed:

What is the error message that you get after enabling local area connection?

You may also restart the pc and Plug in the cable properly into to check if that helps.

I also suggest you to refer to the suggestions provided by “Ratandeep” replied on
July 1, 2014 in the Microsoft Community link and check if that helps.
