    My lock screen picture was changed to a picture I downloaded from my mail, but I did not select it for my lock screen.I am running Windows 10 in S mode.I have deleted the file now from the default lock screen folder, and I rebooted, but the image is still selectable in the lock screen setup.How can I remove any virus or malware associated with this?

    Lock Screen background picture


    Has anybody had difficulty adding a picture / wallpaper to the lock screen.
    I have just set up windows 10 screen saver and I see you can change the lock screen back ground picture.
    I have tried adding either one of the windows wallpapers or one of my own pictures but I can't find any option to save the image. on closing the window & returning to the lock screen the picture does not appear to save and returns to the standard blue background with date and time.
    I can't find any option to save the image as a lock screen wallpaper.
    Does anybody have any suggestions.

    Lock screen not changing picture


    Thanks but that didn't work, and I'm really struggling to see how changing the background from Picture to Slideshow would make a difference especially if I just want a lock screen of one picture in particular.

    Would be on a domain make any difference?

    Maybe a screen grab will help, I'm not too sure if where it says "Choose your picture", it should also have a small thumbnail there? Although it's blank.

    I am trying to change my lock screen picture on my laptop running Windows 10 Home. I go into the settings and it allows me to change the lock screen picture. However, when I test it by locking the computer my older lock screen picture still shows up,
    not the lock screen picture I wanted to change it to. Is there a step I am missing to change my lock screen picture?
