Windows 10: My LTE mobile phone network automatically disconnected when I insert an USB network card

If i unplug this network cardLTE will connect again

Network Disconnects in standby

NIC = Network Inteface Card, i.e. your ethernet port

if its on power saving mode, it automatically shuts the NIC down. meaning that you will be disconnected from the network.

if your on XP, go into device manager, right click the network adapter. and see if you can find a power saving mode, turn that off.

if your on vista its the same thing.

 

Phone connects and then disconnects from LTE data only network

I have the global unlocked lumia 930 and 830 WP 8.1. When I connect to my private Band 7 FDD LTE network both phones successfully connect to the network and then check for 3g-voice service. Since my LTE network is data only the phones issue a disconnect
from the network. Is there any way to force the phones to connect to LTE or LTE data only ? I want to use these phones as tablets. I have a lumia 1520 WP8.0 and it connects and works on my network.

I am the Mobile operator , I trace the phone in the LTE core and I can see it connect, get an IP address and then request 3G service, my LTE network is data only no voice so my core returns 3G is not available and the phone then decides to disconnect and
issues a disconnect to the core . In WP 8.0 the phones stayed connected data only. Maybe this is not the correct venue to ask this question, but is there a way to force the phone to use data only ? and not require 3G . From what I have found using the field
test was a way to set this option, but field test no longer works in WP 8.1
