Windows 10: My Mail Is Not Working !

I have Windows 10 Home Single Language 64 bit VERSION - 20H2 , BUILD - 19042.685 and Mail is not working . That is , I can see all my past mails came to my Gmail but I can't reply none of them , it shows me that the reply is not sent ,unsuccessfully . Even new mails don't come to my account , when I view it from Mail but I get to know about those new mails when I view it from Gmail in Chrome . Even SYNC does not work , whenever I click on that sync option , it shows me 'Syncing' forever and forever and I never ever get to see those new mails . I only get to see those new mails when I logout and login but doing this 10 - 11 times is simple harassment . Basically , I just do not receive new mails and sync does not work .

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Mail app will not open on 10041.

I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused
Go figure!

I suggest you to check if the services responsible for Windows update is running. Refer to these steps:

• Press Windows key +R, type “services.msc”
• Locate the BITS, Cryptographic, MSI Installer and the
  Windows Update Services and check if it is running.
• If not, right click on the service and click start to start the service.
