Windows 10: My maniac keyboard is typing letter "å" continuously by itself

I have a Windows 10 laptop that has been acting strangely today. I use Kaspersky Internet Security and Malwarebytes in addition to the standard applications.The Web browser, any written document, and even logon on startup keep typing "å" a Swedish letter continuously and there is no way to stop this process unless you shut down the machine. Once this happens, all other keys become worthless.I did a complete scan with my antivirus and Malwarebytes and found nothing. I am unable to visit websites or operate programs on my computer as a result of this weird behavior. I was unable to log on the

Sorry for the delay in replying. I would suggest you to try the Onscreen keyboard and check if it helps.

Please have a look at this article and check if it helps. Even though the article is for Windows 8.1, the option to enable the onscreen keyboard is the same.

Use the On-Screen Keyboard (OSK) to type

After you are able to log in, I would suggest you to change the log in option or you may follow the steps provided by Neha Gupta to update the drivers and check if it helps.

Keyboard Typing non-English Letters

In my language settings my language is English (United States) but it whenever I type a certain letter with a number key it turns the letter into a non-English letter like ã (letter from the problem I'm having) which is annoying me when I type since I'm
mainly English and always TYPE in English.



So,
anyone know how I can fix this so I can't type non-English letters?

Keyboard not typing letters

My PC keyboard will only type numerals. No letter keys are working. Since my password is all letters I cannot sign in.

I have been running Windows 10 since its release.
